Each year, Edelman Canada employees in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa roll up their sleeves and take on The Little Give/Le Petit Geste for not-for-profit organizations in their local communities.
What is the Little Give?
Inspired by Oprah’s Big Give, The Little Give is Edelman Canada’s annual corporate social responsibility initiative that dedicates a little bit of seed money and a whole lot of time and energy to worthy, local non-profit organizations. Established in 2008 by Edelman Vancouver, The Little Give is a volunteering program that taps into employees’ diverse skill sets and passion…as well as a whole lot of elbow grease…to make a difference in the communities around them.
For the 2019 Little Give, Edelman has chosen to focus on a single charity that will enable employees to unite nationally, while delivering impact at the local level. We are excited to partner with YWCA’s in the cities that Edelman operate, expanding the strong relationship built over two Little Gives with YWCA Toronto. Employees are passionate about supporting YWCA’s efforts to improve the lives of women and girls in our local communities, which aligns with Edelman’s global commitment to Gender Equality.
