When you volunteer your time and efforts with YWCA Toronto, you help to transform the lives of women, girls and gender diverse people and create lasting change in your community.
YWCA Toronto relies on the passion and special skills of our amazing volunteers in order to serve over 13,000 single women, women with children, girls and gender diverse people each year. Volunteers at YWCA Toronto work in partnership with staff in many different areas to achieve our mission – from program support to administrative assistance, to hands-on event opportunities. Individual placements and group opportunities are available throughout the city at our 15 locations. Opportunities may be long or short-term.

Student Placement Opportunities
Interested applicants can send a resume along with the name of your school, dates, and required number of hours for the placement. We will contact you only if there is an opportunity available.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
At this time, we are unable to accommodate large groups for a volunteer activation, other than as part of our benefits reserved for our corporate donors.
We encourage skilled professionals looking to donate their time to education in areas like: financial planning and literacy, entrepreneurship and business management, speed mentoring, career one-on-one or group-based mentoring and promotion and marketing to connect with us.

Lastly, at our Inspirations Studio we welcome corporate and community groups to connect with each other while getting their hands dirty in our pottery studio which helps support our core work with women and gender diverse people. Please click here for workshop information.
